Founded in 2018 by Matt Evans and Nathan Champley, The Eminent Electrical Group is a locally owned electrical business. We aim to provide safety first and foremost to our projects but also provide a high standard of work to create customer satisfaction to the highest level. Our vision is to employ electrician apprentices giving them the practical skills and trade qualifications to ensure long term employment in the electrical industry.

Matthew Evans

With over 10 year’s experience Matthew has a solid background in all aspects of the electrical trade. He has coordinated numerous residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney from the ground up. 

Mathew spent five years as an electrical foreman honing his team management skills. He coordinated with a number of employees and sub-contractors, while developing connections with other workers and companies. 

His open and honest personality allows him to create effective relationships with clients and allows them to be completely involved throughout all projects big or small.

Nathan Champley

Nathan Champley founded sister company The Eminent Group in 2015 and has been the driving force behind it’s success. The Eminent Group is a facilities management company; administering over one hundred facilities across 
Sydney. They provide 24/7 trades services to its clientele. 

Nathan has developed and implemented systems based on the ISO standard for Management, Quality Control and Safety. These systems have been an integral part of the continued growth of his business success. He has introduced strict guidelines for all staff; guaranteeing a consistently high level of service.

We are committed to minimising the effects on the environment through sustainable environmental practices. We undertake additional training through the Master Electricians Association training programs, which offer sustainable training initiatives. In accordance with our policy, The Eminent 
Electrical Group recycles all waste products where possible. 

Safety

The Eminent Electrical Group maintains accredited certification in Occupational Health & Safety to AS/NZS 4801. Safety audits and inspections are conducted at The Eminent Electrical Group workplaces. Independent third-party audits of our Safety Management Systems are also conducted to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

We take significant pride in our safety record and operate all areas of our business to the highest levels of OH&S performance through systematic elimination of workplace risks. The Eminent Electrical Group conducts monthly consultative meetings focusing on areas of OH&S interest. Any issues that are brought forward or found through our meetings are corrected through safety training sessions with our employees. Regular training sessions are conducted with staff focusing on such issues as manual handling, working at heights, the use of new tools and wiring rules etc. 

The Eminent Electrical Group has a genuine commitment to safety and has established work practices that ensure the companies obligations to the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act and the Company Safety Policy.
